I love that first video, watched it so many times!

It's the first time I've seen the 2nd though. When I was looking into movnat before, they weren't doing certs etc. I think they'd just started their total emersion camps.

    • I made gains in every weight lift I did at the gym today. And my pants are falling off. The jeans that fit me well 3 weeks ago will actually work their way down my butt and fall off if I keep walking without pulling them up. Me and Justin Bieber.

      • Nothing better than a body weight workout in the park on a sunny California morning! Getting in shape for the summer...Here's a photo...Contemplating how many pullups to do -

        • I'm thinking I need to look at my diet to see if I'm eating something that's bothering me, because I've been getting more tired every day. Like maybe I should limit myself to 6 egg yolks a day, and 10 are too many.

Might be an accumulated glycogen deficit, although you would think you would feel more energetic after the refeed. Hopefully you will wake up tomorrow feeling energized!

The issue is fatigue and pain in my hip joints. Joint pain is usually a sign I ate something I am intolerant to.

After posting my photo of lunch, inspired by suggestions I read here, I ended up eating nothing particularly healthy or seriously unhealthy. i was craving mostly fat. Like chocolate. Ate a bunch of that.

              • Whew, today's refeed is much better than my legendary 10 pounds of food refeed last week. I'm only a little bloated and gassy; last week I felt like I might legitimately die from overeating. It felt like I was trying to pass pinecones through my guts. Much smarter to go more moderate instead of making the refeed a personal challenge.

I think this next week (Week 3) I'm going to go back to full-body heavy workouts instead of splits, and maybe aim for a little more steak and eggs on workout day and a bit less on rest days. Will probably be my last steak and egg week for this challenge, but I'll definitely do it again in the future.

                  • Last week of Steak and Eggs! Just finished off an nice T-Bone and 4 eggs cooked in lots of butter. Its been an interesting and tasty run but I must say I'm looking forward to the end of the experiment. I've been pushing real hard on the 6 day split weight training and I'm feeling a bit stale. Next week its back to my normal Paleo-Primal diet and a rest week in preparation for a new and revitalized diet and training cycle. I posted a picture yesterday, but it probably won't be visible for a couple of days due to the moderation process. Feeling like I made some progress, dropped a couple of percentages of bodyfat and added some muscle for sure. I will take another photo next Sunday to capture the final results. Congrats to everyone who has made it this far and have a great final week!

                          • Why is it that eating too much protein can move you out of ketosis?

The excess protein gets converted into glucose, which then knocks you out of ketosis.

                              • Besides that, eating too many calories can kick you out of ketosis, too.
