  • New to primal - appreciate feedback on todays food

    Hi all,

    I started Primal eating as of yesterday and would appreciate your advice on what I have eaten today. Whether I have had too much or too little of something.

    Breakfast - skipped breakfast as wasnt hungry

    Lunch - Veal joint, 2 small sausages, cauliflower, broccoli and onions

    Dinner - chicken breast, 2 slices of prosciutto ham, 2 chillis, 1 red pepper, scambled egg (made with coconut butter), 3 mushrooms, sauerkraut

    Desert - a few grapes

    Drinks wise I have had a lot of water and 3 fruit teas.

    Were you hungry? It seems like you focused mostly on protein, doesn't seem like you ate many veggies. Don't necessarily have to, I just wonder if you were eating enough.

      yes not a lot of food! eat more, add fat and enjoy

        Well you are eating more food than I do on a daily basis, but all our appetites are different. Eat when you are hungry, and eat until you are satisfied.

        Your diet seems very protein-rich to me
        Stumbled into Primal due to food allergies, and subsequent elimination of non-primal foods.

        Start Gluten-Free/Soy-Free: December 2012; start weight 158lbs, Ladies size 6
        Start Primal: March 2013, start weight 150lbs, Ladies size 6
        Current: 132lbs, Ladies size 2
        F/23/5'9"

        26lbs lost since cutting the crap.
