I want to start incorporating smoothies into my day, as I typically eat little in the mornings and think they would be a good way to get some good stuff early on. So far I have frozen unsweetened berries (strawberries and mixed berries) and whey isolate. I'm going to pick up my blender soon and will stop by Trader Joe's or somewhere on the way back. What's a good liquid for a healthy smoothie? Cream? Coconut Milk? Water? Grain Alcohol? I'd like to really pack a nutritional punch into these, so I'd appreciate suggestions.
