Basically the protocol is one to reduce gut permeability and inflammation. So autoimmune paleo protocol to remove possible irritants. Supplements usually include l-glutamine for helping fix the gut and probiotics to repopulate.

Here's Jack Kruse on it for his prescription THE LEAKY GUT PRESCRIPTION……… | Living an Optimized Life

Have you been eating nightshades? Have you been eating tumeric?

Tomatoes yes, turmeric no - not that I know of. Why? Are they good against RA?

Mark recommends that if you have arthritis do not eat nightshades at all and use tumeric. I sprinkle tumeric on everything reasonable, it has no taste but a small afterbyte.

About 2 weeks after starting this (and the PB diet) the pain from my arthritis was entirely gone and never came back. However the limited mobility is still there but is slowly, very slowly decreasing. So I have a little hope that over a long period of time this diet may cure my arthritis. But that means NO nightshades.
