  • Non-dairy diet: sources of vitamin K2 and CLA

I'm thinking about going dairy-free for a while (about 6 months), but I'm worried about not having enough vitamin K2 and CLA in my diet. So I'd like to ask the non-dairy crowd: do you supplement those 2 nutrients?

    No,
Non issue if the rest of your diet is varied, entire populations existed from the arctic to the tropics with no dairy.

I do however throw a dab of butter into cooking once in a while, just for taste, not K2.

No - both of these nutrients are found in eggs yolks and meat. As far as I know, grassfed is better than grainfed for CLA and liver is relatively high in K2.

I've really cut down on dairy over the last few months and I'm leaner with better skin and clearer sinuses - good luck!

Poultry for K2. Chicken, duck, goose.

It's for this reason that I'd like to cut dairy for some time.
