  • Different fasting periods for different seasons...thoughts?

    I've been thinking a lot lately about "what would Grok do", and I've been pondering the validity of having different fasting periods for different seasons...I wonder what the results would be if I ate abundantly in the summer, eating a lot of fruit as is available, and then during the winter ate less often and basically no fruit...Just something I've been thinking about. Your thoughts?

    I do think its best to eat seasonally. I think even in the PB book Mark mentions it.

      I think that is probably quite natural. I find I lean towards more meat when the weather is cold and salad don't seem to have the same appeal. When the weather turns warm I am more interested in salad and fruit.

        We are toying with giving up chocolate for lent.....
        Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.
