Keep in touch, Ayla. You don't have to do LCHF to hang out here.

I also, except this week, take a TBL of unflavored gelatin twice a day to see if the collagen in it can help with excessive loose skin. Health insurance looks at excess skin removal as "cosmetic surgery". I've lost 116 lbs this past 2 years on primal but I suffered with the leg cramps for quite awhile before that.
I drink about 3 liters a day or more is that to much?

The 137 come from my WII supposed ideal weight - really I would be happy to get into my wedding dress again. I can't even begin to image being 120 or even 125
It's very difficult, cause you one were a certain weight does not actually mean it should be you goal or ideal weight :-)

That's what we do in Australia. Your doctor gives you a referral to a pathology centre, and there they get whatever sample they need from you to perform whatever test is required, and then usually send the results back to your doctor to discuss with you.

Ok, warning: LCHF way of eating makes a person crazy. If a man gets excited over a pee stick......must be what he's eating and he's nuts!

                          • Feb Week 1 I lost 1/2 a pound this week, 1 inch and .3% body fat. This week was all about my eating disorder. I survived a combo of my period, a cold, personal stress and 4 days of severe binge issues.

                            I learned the following:
*It is OK to eat to the top of my calorie range if I need to.
*Keep that fat high (80% goal)
*Sleep is more important than most of us understand
*L-glutamine really does help the brain stop Jonesing for carbs.
*Once the above happens, then I am only dealing with desire. I am stronger than my desires. 23 days clean.

                            • Lizard, I drink at least that daily, so no not too much, I think it would only be a problem if you try to drink it all at once and you haven't eaten.

Paula, fantastic insights! I honestly believe that sleep is the key.

                              • Nice job Pebbles!

I'm frustrated. I want to make sure I don't sound like one of those that whine because they haven't lost anything because I do understand that it happens sometimes. However, I've GAINED weight and I'm in ketosis. I don't understand and I'm frustrated. I haven't fallen off the wagon, I'm exercising, drinking plenty of water and have a ton of weight to lose. Here's what I've tracked the last week. I think my blood ketone monitor arrives today...I hope. Thoughts anyone?

P.S - The Ketosis column is a grade I give based on the color it matches on the ketostix. The 4 is purple. The 3 is moderate.
