What have you eaten today?

  • 200g fried, curried liver, 3 fried onions, 4 hard-boiled eggs, 4 fried eggs, a banana, a sweet potato, 25g butter, 2 dates, 120g tin of sardines in olive oil and LOTS of added tallow in my frying and curry.

    • Cup of tea with 1 tsp of honey and 1 of CO.
      2-3 hours later, small handful of macadamia nuts. I had them because I like them, not because I was hungry.
      I'm not eating much these days, don't know why. Don't know if that'll help or hinder fat loss?

          • lol been up since 11pm and have eaten 29 bananas so far, something is wrong with me. or maybe something is wrong with everyone else

            bananas + nutella is a winning combination though.

            • Yesterday I had three duck eggs, a normal-sized steak, 1/2 pound of seasoned ground (GF) beef, an entire dandelion in tea/soup with ginger and cinnamon, 4 kiwis and three mangoes. Oddly, those fruits (along with berries and apples and most others!) do fine - unlike beautiful bananas which I can easily eat many pounds of, but then am bloated and constipated, hungry again later, etc. I sure wish I could eat a ton of bananas. I find them delicious and amazing. But my gut disagrees!

                • I didn't weigh anything but:

                  Lunch: salad, mussels, sashimi, coffee
                  Dinner: 1/3 of a roasted chicken (was whole), a head of roasted garlic....I just eat it straight, sauteed parsnip pear and kale thing in coconut oil. 3 macaroons. coffee.

                  • I say, I had quite a great meal today! Eggs, bacon, and cheddar! How primal is that?! Now that I am so full that I can't get up from the couch! I probably ate almost too much fat today! But eggs and bacon NEVER lose. Later, I will take my 2 daily fish oil supplements.

                      Two eggs, two slices of bacon, a dozen cherry tomatoes. Bullet proof coffee - MTC oil and cream plus a packet of stevia.

                      • 3 eggs over easy, 3 strips of THICK bacon, 36oz of coffee with about 2 tbsp of very non primal coffee-mate and a multi-vitamin.

                        Then I had a lara bar.
                        The above should be viewed as complete and utter nonsense.

                          100g frozen fruit (eaten still-frozen)
                          1 banana (pudding; had almost an hour after)

                          Snacking throughout the morning:
                          50g nuts

                          When home (5.20pm):
                          1 banana
                          100ml double cream
                          50g shredded coconut
                          (all mashed into a paste)

                          Snacks for the evening (spread out):
                          1 plum
                          8 grapes
                          1sq (10g) 74% chocolate
                          1 mocha coffee (no milk, no sweetener)

                          Dinner (10pm):
                          150g beef, raw
                          4 eggs, fried
                          1 medium onion, fried
                          8 grapes

                          -187g fat
                          -120g protein
                          -118g carbs


                          Why all the detail? I feel AMAZING today. Unsure if it's restricting the dairy, the fact I have no cramps, recovering from stress or the food today. I'd say it's some of everything.

                          • Breakfast: 7 small eggs with coconut oil + leftover meat from last night's dinner
                            Brunch: Big mug of Gunpowder Green Tea
                            Lunch: Sauerkraut, 2 hard boiled eggs, a banana, and a small apple

                            Dinner: Lots of shrimp in homemade coconut cream curry sauce.....Oh, and this IPA im drinking right now

                            I feel very good today, high energy levels, but not manic which happens when I have too much fruit or carbs. Like an extended release of energy which I plan on burning off the rest tonight while I work my abs until they spontaneously combust!~

                                I'm cutting out all milk (which, unless unhomogenized, I already know to be bad for me), cheese (I'd recently begun to eat more than usual) and yoghurt (a potential problem that I eat LOADS of), but keeping butter for frying/sauces and up to 100ml/day of double cream for a kcal boost.
                                So my lactose intake is cut right back. About 3g/day, maximum of 5 if I push the cream a bit further.

                                If you can cut it all out, (maybe excepting butter...) that may work better, but I find double cream the easiest way to boost kcals when I need it.

                                It's a bit early to say, but I'm noticing spots fading away and that new ones aren't replacing them so, if this continues, it may be best to avoid certain dairy products and just have cream and butter. I also haven't had reflux since I started and reflux was the reason I wanted to try it anyway.
