    I would guess high free fatty acid induced insulin resistance has made you "carb intolerant". Have you gotten thyroid tests done?

    I would suggest trying to minimize pufa, and drinking orange juice. Potassium is the most powerful regular of blood sugar.
    Hence: ARS | Publication request: Orange juice consumed regularly decreased the Insulin Resistance in normal subjects

    Otherwise, I'm at a loss for how you could possibly have such a strong adverse reaction to a single compound. I would recommend lab tests because that doesn't sound very healthy.

      I eat bacon occasionally, but I see Primal more as a lifestyle of trying to eat clean (as much non processed stuff as possible). I just choose to eat a lower carb diet that's higher in awesome fat (grass fed fat from steak, grass fed heavy cream, avocados, coconut, etc).

        That breakfast looks great to me. I have no idea about the figs, but the rest gets a thumbs up from me. If I ate breakfast, I'd be happy to sit down to that plate.
