@aprimalmomma - try just the ELOO for the SLD shots and use the CO in other things. CO seems to have other metabolic effects and, from what you read, one of them is to rev up the metabolism. Hence hunger. SLD works to dial down the furnace, as your body senses that you have more than your setpoint on board.
When I started 6 yrs ago, I was using canola and got incredible AS from the first day, then switched to ELOO for the better health benefits and still got good, but slightly milder AS from it. Would never recommend canola now, but the ELOO is still a good option. Then use your more saturated fats in your meals for a good balance.
I hope the AS kicks in soon because I'm up 1.5 pounds on the scale in he last few days. I had some Thai Japanese eggplant with prawns, no rice or anything else. I'm hoping it's sodium overload. I have that sodium lethargic feeling this morning. Time for better hydration today.
I woke up fearing it was the extra oil calories this week. I will do my best not to worry about it. Sucks to worry or doubt the process.
I skimped on protein yesterday morning. That might be why I was so hungry all day. Back to palm size protein this morning until AS kicks in.
So I haven't done any oil shots since Thursday! Used the last of my CO that day. Planned on picking some up before work Friday, but that didn't happen. Weekend was busy so skipped all together. Yesterday - still no CO!! Starting back up today but still haven't picked up any CO, so grabbed a bottle of olive oil from home and using that until I can get some more CO.
Saturday I leave for vacation for a week. Undecided if I will continue oil shots or take the week off and start back afterwards. AS on vacation would be nice, but finding 2-hour window might be tricky!
Weigh in this morning was frustrating - I got several different readings on my digital scale. However, so I have a "standard" I will just pick the highest one: 159.8.
This is where my body seems to settle pretty comfortably no matter what I eat, so it will be interesting to see if the CO can affect YEARS of a very stubborn set point. Ideally I would like to get to 140 but I'll take 145!
More to come ...

Super smart to get that thyroid tested. I had a lot of symptoms but my regular doc would not give me meds b/c I was "within normal range" even tho at the low end. A specialist did give me Armour thyroid as his position is "what's normal is what's normal for you". I've read sev'l places that our norms may be too stringent. Just mentioning this as they should, IMHO, treat the symptoms & not be so focused on that lab range.
Had a lovely breakfast and didn't get to my first shot until 12. I'm now off for a haircut which I am in desperate need of.
