Dirty Jobs aired an episode on harvesting them. It was quite interesting to say the least.

      • Another clean day yesterday and today. Weight is the same as the beginning of the month but like Jen, I had a do-over. However, my jeans seem to have a bit more room...

Today I front loaded and feel fine now. Hoping I do not get the hungry tummy. I plan to drink tea if so, maybe with a little butter as I am AT if not a bit over on some macros.

Tomorrow will be a lunch out as well, not sure where but will make another good choice.

        • I'm perfectly on track for the whole week - starting on Monday. I'm still up 2 lbs from my EMF low and hoping to lose them before tomorrow so I can report 11 lbs lost, instead of 11 lbs lost, plus one gain-back remaining. *sigh*

          • The good news is I was down 11 pounds from Dec to the first of the month, I just have not lost any more.

            • I have only been clean since Sunday, so today is technically my 5th day. It has taken me since the 9th (which is when I started) to get the hang of my macros and how to balance them. But I feel good!

Here is an odd one for you...today I wore a skirt to work (that's not the odd part I almost always wear skirts), it is old, years old, just a plain black skirt. anyway, I am sitting at my desk and go to scratch my back and the elastic waist band is gapping. In other words not only is it not at all stretched, it is not even touching my waist in the back. Elastic, mind you.

Yeah, I saw my neurologist again on Monday which meant blood work...
Because I take a medication that can totally screw that stuff up too.
                          And shocker!
                          Mine is still PERFECT.

                          Carry on.

When you got over the Carb-flu,did you just wake up one morning and feel great or was it more of a gradual thing?

Meaning, did you feel a bit better each day/week?

Hope this isn't a dumb question!
I think I just woke up one day feeling really good.

I think this is a good idea.

the Russian Circus left my town several years ago.......... y'all have my sympathies. Now instead of monthly pain and nastiness for a week - I get nightly hot flashes! womanhood is so much fun! I'm going to be trying Vitex and I'm hoping it will curb those hot flashes a bit. Some articles say it makes them better - some say it makes them worse. I'm gonna try and see what happens.
YAY great about your rings! Mine don't fit.

I'm excited as well! I've had this stack of "goal pants" for a long time, basically I whipped out jeans of all different sizes, larger to smaller and since I got rid of grain and sugar, I've slowly worked my way through them. They are markers of progress. Tonight I put the ones on the bottom of the pile on, without even having to lay on my bed to get them buttoned lol. Don't get me wrong, they are snug, but a year ago, they wouldn't have fit on one leg lol! They are CK's, size 7. Like a 90's size 7. I think we bought them when I was like 12. "Grew" out of them and never wore them again. I think once those fit me well, I will be about where I should be. Oh, the closer I get to my correct weight, the more impatient I become!
Goal pants are a great idea. Ive been considering buying a pair of jeans (i have not worn jeans since I was a teenager.

                          • So, I guess today is report the numbers day?
                            Meh.

                            4 lbs., that 's it.
And I'm good with that... pretty normal for me.
I wanted 5, and it should have been 5, but my son is stressing the crap out of me and I've been eating a bit extra having that in conjunction with the Russian Circus coming to town. Not bad foods mind you... not even sweet foods... just some extra calories... so I'm on "hold" still.

                            It is what it is.
Hopefully I will stop feeling stressed by his crap soon, because I do not think that his crap is going to stop at all.
I'm trying very hard to be zen about it.
It's his path, let him walk it... *breathe*
But then my brain starts ticking and turning and I don't sleep and I worrrrrrrryyyyyy. *grrrrrrrr*
