  • Pregnancy, acid reflux and not wanting to eat.

Someone I know has the following question for you all...

What are some good foods to eat for someone who is pregnant and has severe acid refux? Before I resort to Zantac I want to find out what foods to eat and what to avoid to see if I can cure it myself. It's hard to eat food because nothing sounds good. Thoughts?

Silly question for you PrimalToad, but she is eating primal right? Another question is how far along is she?

Anecdotaly there is an old tale that this is a symptom that her child will be born with lots of hair! Hey, turned out true for both my kids. My wife resorted to zantac, but this was before she went Primal.

I found acidophilus tablets helped my reflux a lot when I had it. This pregnancy I've been resorting to essential oils (DoTerra DigestZen more specifically).

Thanks! I'll definitely pass this info on but hopefully a few others can give some insight too. Folks have on PaleoHacks....

I came across this article by Chris Kresser when I was researching GERD (which my father had issues with). It almost made me wish I had acid reflux or heartburn myself, just so I could cure it, he makes it sound so easy. Maybe there's some info there that could help!
