  • Women's Multivitamin

Morning all! I'm currently looking for a women's multivitamin/mineral that I can take that doesn't have soy/gluten/sugar or any other nasties in it. I'm currently taking Womens 1 a day by Centrum I think, but that contains soy and some other stuff that I don't want to put in my body anymore.

    Any suggestions?

Try Rainbow Light Nutrition brand. It's a food based one. I take the prenatal kind and love it.

Thank you! I'm also taking Thyroid Synergy to help my sluggish thyroid. Is it safe to take this vitamin with that?

I take Juice Plus+ instead of a vitamin.

Is there a reason you need vitamins in pills?

Well, I don't think that I could possibly get everything I need/should have every day simply from diet alone. I don't eat that much, and I don't eat that huge of a variety of foods either.

Maybe you should rethink that. You don't have to eat a lot but you should put some thought into the variety and quality of the food. What do you eat?

It would take me forever to post all the things that I eat.

But I do not eat organ meats, and I do not really eat fruits, and I do not eat raw dairy, and I do not always have the luxury of eating grassfed meats. I buy it when I can, but can't always afford it.

The best sources of vitamins are whole foods. Are you vitamin deficient? Have you been tested? Why would you want to eat processed vitamins. We don't even know their effectiveness. They may even be harmful for all we know.

Ok, well thank you for your opinion about it. I know the best way to get vitamins is through whole foods, but as I stated before, there are things that my diet is lacking. I take a fish oil supplement too, because I seem to have a very hard time digesting fish. Go ahead and flame me for that as well, lol!!! I'm just trying to heal my body and get to the best health that I possibly can. I'm obviously not nearly as extremist as you are. To each their own.

Do you only come to this webiste to argue with people? You seem like you are really argumentative.

Calm down now, in her situation it is perfectly acceptable. Not everyone has the luxury as you do.

Don't worry about him, and of you are concerned at all by RDA, you shouldn't be. If you are smaller individual it won't apply to you unless you eat 2,000 calories a day(which is what they are based off of)

I dunno. I take thyroid meds and don't have a problem with mine. Ask your doctor

Eating whole foods like grok did is extremist but popping pills is not?

no, but when someone repeatedly makes statements saying they'd prefer information on vitamins, then that's the information they want
                              beautiful
                              yeah you are

Baby if you time travel back far enough you can avoid that work because the dust won't be there. You're too pretty to be working that hard.
                              lol
