Is goat milk an option, or is all milk off the table?

If you're okay with seeds you could make sesame/sunflower/pepita milk. It's easy - just soak them, blend them, strain them.

Hemp milk is good, except for high omega-6 levels. Still, I'd give it a shot.

Flax is just as high, if not HIGHER than, soy in phytoestrogens so those with hormonal issues might want to avoid for the same reasons.
"The cling and a clang is the metal in my head when I walk. I hear a sort of, this tinging noise - cling clang. The cling clang. So many things happen while walking. The metal in my head clangs and clings as I walk - freaks my balance out. So the natural thought is just clogged up. Totally clogged up. So we need to unplug these dams, and make the the natural flow... It sort of freaks me out. We need to unplug the dams. You cannot stop the natural flow of thought with a cling and a clang..."

Have you tried adding yogurt? May not taste that bad. I like mixing sour cream with my potatoes....

yeah i have some but its so expensive and when i try to make it myself i just mess it up, so i use it sparingly. I want some sort of thick liquid to use as mashed potato thinning agent and something i can mix with chocolate for cocoa and such. I bought some hemp hearts today so ill attempt hemp milk tomorrow.

Just give up all milk. I don't use any kind of milk-like-substance and I don't miss it at all.

It's very hard to pour off the yellow fat without re-mixing the two layers, but I found a trick: Melt the butter, but then pour it into a Ziplock bag with one corner pointing downward. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes; don't touch it. The white milk will settle in the bottom corner of the bag, with the yellow fat on top. Snip off a tiny corner of the bag, let the milk stuff run out, and then quickly move the bag over another container when the yellow fat starts spurting out. You can do this even with cheap butter.
