    No problem, Bosstycoon! Glad you were able to sift through all the numbers

    I bet you'd find that if you curb back your carb intake, you'll start to see more progress with weight loss. Don't be afraid to eat more fat, either!

      I'm sure you can make your own chicken strips that taste a million times better. Ever since I started cooking my own food from scratch, whenever my boyfriend cooks some Trader Joe's packaged thing that's pre-marinated or pre-seasoned it just tastes so awful. It always has the same taste to it, like there's some common ingredient in all of it. I prefer the cleaner taste of things I make myself. I sometimes use pre-made things to spice up my food, for instance, I love chiles in adobo sauce that comes in a can, but what I make is always better than something that comes pre-marinated or pre-seasoned.

          I tend to really use the 21 Transformation book for my daily intake basic idea. i just find it really helps to what I should be sticking to.

              ok..after figuring this simple stuff out about macros and intake of fats/protein/carbs to get to my lean body mass is actually fairly simple... and I honestly was on track but I wasnt near to the amount of fat i need to be intaking....Here is todays numbers so far......

              Carbs 14% 215 kCal
              Protein 19% 295 kCal
              Fats 70% 1082 kCal
              Alcohol 0


              Totals= Protein-73.67 grams Carbs-53.87 grams Fat-120.23 grams

              Have been eating fruit this past week in moderation in the am...usually dont eat much fruit so usual carb intake is probably around 15-20 grams. Today i didnt have much of a breakfast due to was runnin late for school so did a serving of my whey protein(i know its not primal) and some fruit....just had a salad for lunch that put me closer to my daily intake of protein and fats. but am still half way to meeting the my requirement..usually isnt like this due to me always eating breakfast usually

                Hey Paul,

                I could calculate your calorie requirements/macro nutrient ratios easily, but you might have to play with the numbers as people find that different ratios work better/worse for them. I'm no guru lol...but I do get a weird kind of enjoyment out of formulas and math type stuff. Why did I major in English in college?!

                        33yrs old, male, 220lbs, 6'0.

                        I really want to get lean and get below 200lbs...closer to 180 I am thinking.
