    I was researching alternative feed (sad that food you can grow at home is considered alternative, but GMO crap from a mill is the norm) nutritional info for my pigs & hens today and came across this pdf.

    If you read the descriptions of beans, grains & wahtnot, it's pretty telling. They talk about gastric ulceration, gut irritation, anti-nutritive factors, etc.

    Extrapolate tis info to humans, and you can see why primal is the way to go, and that properly raised meat animals are worth the money.
