Nothing fancy! grassfed burgers wrapped in leaf lettuce with bacon, blue cheese, cayenne sauce, bacon-fat mayo and dijon; maybe some fresh buttered corn on the cob as a 20%-ish indulgence; the usual salad; pork rinds & guacamole to snack on; blueberries/raspberries/strawberries with cream for a red-white-and-blue dessert; hard cider, wine & seltzer to drink.

We're going to a party at some relative's place on the lake. There will be the usual meat there for grilling, not organic or anything like that so we'll probably eat sparingly. We do plan to bring a couple things - the peachy chicken salad and a pesto cole slaw - both recipes from the Primal Blueprint cookbooks. Instead of bringing beer, we'll stick to water and some cheaper wine. You know, for swillin'.

This lady has a sweet lineup. It's GAPS but everything that's GAPS legal is primal.

The place I learned to make all animal fat mayos... the bacon-fat mayo link is at the bottom of the page.

I also add some fresh whey to my mayo.... because it prevents spoilage.

Also... I DARE you to try the Duck. But husband is firmly in love with the Bacon.
Beef is good too... the whiter the tallow for the fat the better... I prefer heart tallow.

I will probably have a big ole heaping side of 20% today. I was assigned a dessert, so I will make a homemade greek yogurt/whipped cream berry parfait concoction. Blueberries & Strawberries, maybe some raspberries, for a red/white/blue effect. I am not sure what meat is on the menu.

I had 5 kinds of chili. Probably primal - but definitely NOT nightshade free. I'll probably be paying for a couple days.

                              Still worth it though.
