        • A Mediterranean Scramble - diced tomatoes with oregano and garlic sauteed in olive oil with two eggs, topped with crumbled feta. Yum!

            I think I need some variation; my breakfast seems to always be somewhat the same :-s

                • Hi all! I am very new to the Primal way of life but am diving in neck deep. More will be revealed. I was led here by some guys that I chat with on the Standup Zone internet forum for standup paddlers. There are some pretty passionate members there that have influenced me.

                  Staying on topic, I was wondering what some of you veterans think of the ingredients in the smoothie I had this morning. BTW, I am now a reformed oatmeal eater.

                  Almond milk
                  Blueberries
                  Strawberries
                  1/2 Banana
                  1/2 Avocado
                  2 Tbsp. Almond butter
                  1/2 Tsp. UDO's 3.6.9 oil
                  1 Tsp. Udo's Wholesome Fast Food
                  1/2 Tsp. Spirulina

                  So, how would you rate this on the Primal scale. It's all a learning process for me right now. Thanks.

                    no solids here either. bfast = espresso and goat butter = yum.
                    Started PB late 2008, lost 50 lbs by late 2009. Have been plateaued, but that thing may just be biting the dust: more on that later.

                    • Not today, but we went out for breakfast over the weekend at a pretty amazing place. While part of me wistfully gazed at the cococut-cream-filled-french-toast, I ordered something that was pretty flipping amazing. a "veggie stack":

                      Slice of yellow tomato with a layer of fresh mozzarella over it, then a slice of red tomato, then a slice of avocado, a couple basil leaves and a poached egg on top (there were two on the plate, and served with extra avocado for garnish.) Oh yeah, and hollandaise sauce (which I hope was homemade, heh).

                      And a side of bacon.

                      Pretty good, and very easy to reproduce at home, looking forward to making it even better with fresh homegrown maters!

                      • Today I had a veggie omelet made with egg beaters. Most days however I eat what I call breakfast hash

                        ground pork
                        rainbow slaw (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots)
                        diced tomatoes
                        spinach
                        mushrooms
                        2 eggs
                        seasoned with:
                        garlic
                        onion powder
                        s&p
                        cumin OR oregano and basil.

                        YUM!

                        • I had two eggs in coconut oil with spinach, mushrooms, onions and 3 oz of wild sockeye salmon. Small banana and black coffee.

                          • 3 eggs (sunny side up), 3 pieces of turkey bacon (cinnamon sprinkled on top), and a glass of almond milk (unsweetened)

                            had the exact same thing every single morning over the past 8 months and never get sick of it

                            • I wasn't very hungry this morning, so just a couple hard boiled eggs, but they were from my super spoiled chickens, so they were delicious, as you might imagine

                              Super spoiled=free range of our entire 1 acre property, organic feed, fruit & vegetables scraps, and all the bugs they can find and eat.

                                I had a coffee with coconut cream and honey, and a raw zucchini and quarter of Hungarian salami.
