  • Clemmy's Sugar free/lacost free icecream

Check this out. All they use is xylitol for a sweetener. And, somehow, it is lactose free, despite the fact they use cream. I thought there was at least a little lactose in cream. Hmmm..

Shit, this stuff is practically healthy for you. This product looks to be getting rave reviews. I'm sure Clemmy's icecream has already been mentioned here as it has been around for a few years.

I've always wanted to make an icecream that was actually somewhat nutritious without all the sugar. I've thought about using a combination of buckwheat honey and xylitol. This would have a very low glycemic load, something that still might be appealing to those of use primal foodies.

Clemmy's was a lot better when they were using full fat cream.

I tried their chocolate recently and it tasted fairly good however it was a bit too sweet for me.

Yeah they should totally use full fat cream. I also think they could add a tiny more salt, and sea salt. I could definitely make something similar to this that is much denser, creamier, and tastier.

I've heard of Clemmy's, but have never tried it. Have you tried Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams? That stuff is BOSS! We had the goat cheese cherry one a few weeks ago. Super pricey ($13 for the pint), but omg best cheesecake flavor EVER! *dies*

we've made banana ice cream before (i've even suggested it on the board a few times). but it's not the same as ice cream. sometimes i just want to take a tub of smooth, sweet ice cream out of the freezer and eat it. Clemmy's has a few "novelty" ice creams too, like Ice Cream O's.

the ingredients aren't the best, but still pretty cool.

I've never tried Jeni's Splendid, i don't think i've seen it around here. From the website, it looks fabulous, i just can't fathom spending $14 on a pint of ice cream.
