  • Oranges and raisins

Question: I pretty much avoid fermented, so I've been using an orange a day with CPXVOO for a salad dressing with a few raisins for sweet. Do you think that an orange a day and about 3 tablespoons of raisins can throw the weight loss off?

If I have the above dressing, I seem to be able to eat meat. Without it (today's BAS), it's just not working.

I've cut out dairy, grains, nuts, seeds, beans, legumes, processed oils and processed foods, all fruit except above, and canned coconut milk (still planning on using dried coconut milk as I can control amount without having to use it up fast -- I get it from dr.benkim.com).

So, I have supplements, meat and fowl, BAS of raw and cooked vegetables, and coconut oil (again, besides above dressing). Also, trying one meal a day at lunch.

No. Not unless you're really close to goal weight and are at a plateau-at that point you may need to get really strict.

Before Primal, I used to get migraines. They seem to have disappeared. I'm not complaining!!!:-) Fermented things are one of the many things people with migraines try to avoid -- pickles, yogurt, vinegar, wine. I'm not sure what they'd do to me now that I've cut out grains, but I thought I'd wait a while to try them again. I've always wondered if it was the combination of things that caused migraines -- for example, wheat bread and meat or kimchee and grain, an orange and a wheat sandwich. I don't think citrus gives me migraines, so I've been making olive oil and orange dressings with a few raisins, and I like them.
