  • IF ?

I ate last night at 8 p.m. (two meat sticks and half a chicken breast). I didn't eat again until noon today (two pieces of fish and almonds)--16 hours later.

Am I guilty of Intermittment Fasting?

If you are, then I'm often guilty of it too. I eat when I'm hungry.

Yes, and this is one of the easiest ways to do IF because it incorporates your natural fasting period - sleep - and simply adds a few hours on top of that.

It's funny; I still feel a little uneasy about skipping breakfast, because of all the Conventional Wisdom about breakfast being so important.

I rarely have breakfast now - so technically I guess I'm *not* IF-ing because it's not "intermittant"!

I still wonder about the distinction between skipping a meal = IF, vs skipping a meal because of not being hungry?

Thanks for the responses. I didn't know what amount of time constituted IF. I wasn't all thsat hungry when I ate last night. Felt good all day, too, except the two pieces of fish were almost too much on such an empty stomach. I'll see if it means weight loss in the morning!
