  • Sprouts has raw milk now!

If you drink milk or your kids do, I just found Sprouts is now carrying Organic Pastures raw milk. So excited to see that, as no other stores around here carry it. I bought a small container for a few sips. Personally I will not drink too much of it because cutting out a lot of dairy was the key for me (and my husband) dropping extra weight. But I love milk so I will have a little on occasion. Go Sprouts!

Going there this weekend -- will check it out.
I normally buy my raw milk direct from the farmer.

I'd also be curious to see the expiration date on it since raw milk is typically 7-10 days.

The expiry date on mine is today. I'm in California and Organic Pastures is in the Fresno area, so I don't know about the Sprouts in Texas.

Thats pretty cool, but how about they get some raw milk cheese sometime? I much prefer Sprouts to Whole Paycheck but Sprouts doesn't seem to have the selection I want in cheeses and butters. Maybe its just my Arizona Sprouts that sucks haha

Wow! I have a Sprouts around the corner from me that I haven't been to yet. I had no idea they even "could" carry that.

Raw milk is AWESOME!!! We buy ours from the farm in Plano, Tx. Doesn't really matter what the expiration date is because it will never last that long. :-)

Well, I stopped in and didn't see any milk that had "raw" on the label. Boo! I'll keep checking. I do love the store, though. Don't know why I haven't been in. Habit, I guess.

It was in the section with Kefir, not with the rest of the milk, for some odd reason. Organic Pastures claims no BPA in their containers.

I've found some raw cheese at Trader Joes.

I'm jealous!! When I lived in AZ, I used to do most of my grocery shopping at Sprouts. Sadly we don't have them here in Georgia! Sprouts is one of the things I miss the most about AZ.

                            HillsideGina,

Okay, I'll look there. Thanks! I was really amazed when I walked around yesterday. I had avoided the store b/c I was afraid it was too expensive. Was I wrong! It is at least competitive, and in some cases, cheaper on items than the store I usually go to.

Don't mention it too loud or the FDA will send in the swat teams to shut down that heinous criminal activity.
