  • If someone completely banned all sugar, they would die very quickly

    That's what Yahoo Answers says:

Why do we need sugar in our diet? - Yahoo! Answers

Sugar is such a toxin that the body needs to produce a special hormone (insulin) to handle it~ just ask anyone that doesn't produce insulin~

I saw one post asking about paleo on there and several people jumped in to say that red meat causes cancer and that soy is the healthiest food in the world and is nutritionally better than any kind of meat.I still can't wrap my brain around the whole meat causes cancer thing, why would a food that we've been thriving on for millions of years suddenly do a 180 and decide to be the main cause of every horrible disease we're plagued with in modern society? Sadly,if you present that logic people just continue to plow ahead and ignore any further points.
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who has said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own experience.

In the mind of the beginner, there are many possibilities; in the mind of the expert, there are few.

Yahoo answers can be pretty good for broad scope kind of questions but the nutrition section is god awful.
