  • Farm-raised, Thailand shrimp OK?

At Whole Foods I accidentally got the bag of frozen farmed shrimp from Thailand instead of the U.S. ones. It's a 30-count bag. Think it's OK to eat as long as next time I get the U.S. ones? Thanks!

I'm sure they'll be better than bread / pizza / cupcakes etc. Though I always try to get wild shrimp when I can.

Better to eat them than waste them... but for future reference - avoid

Where does everybody buy their wild shrimp? Online? I can't seem to find any in my local grocery stores.

I avoid seafood that is not wild.
I have not eaten shrimp in years, probably because I cannot find any wild shrimp in my area.

I won't touch seafood from Thailand - there has been a lot rejected from import into Australia due to health contaminations - bacteria, viral infections etc. So I avoid it all. Local is probably best.
