  • Post Fasting Meal?

    Hey guys,

    been working up to a weekly 24 hour water fast. I used to eat dinner, fast, then do juice, small dinner after the fast. Lately it seems like my body doesn't want to jump into a big meal of solid food immediately after the fast. So right now it's like fast till dinnertime, then juice some veggies, maybe a small protein shake or something like that. Any ideas for how to break the fast easy without jumping into a bunch of solid food until the morning after?

    I used to do 2 24hr fasts a week and never had a problem eating a huge meal. What juice are you drinking btw? Anyways the more cooked your veggies/meat are the easier they are to digest. You could also start with some bone broth.

      I hated doing a 24hr fast I've tried it twice and it makes me feel like shite. I'd never do it again, actually working it out I must of gone longer 36hrs? That's why I felt so shite, idiot.

        Basically i juice up some carrots, celery, parsley, beet greens, etc. Not really any fruit.

            Except when you are at work and get miss cranky pants around 2pm. 6pm - noon I can do no problem everyday tho. It did take a couple weeks to adjust to that eating schedule
