  • a whole 30 question for the knowledgeable

the recent whole 30 site allows some fruit juice as a sweetener. my question is: might this apply to raisins? most all picadillo recipies i see (and picadillo i have eaten) contains raisins. i am working up a slow cooker, but primal, picadillo, slow cooker recipie using no fat added ground venison. any insights or experience or ideas greatly appreciated.

I just looked through the Whole30 book and raisins and dried fruits are permitted, but they do say to limit use. To give you a sense of amounts, their pan fried moroccan chicken recipe calls for 4 tbsp of raisins for 4 servings, so 1 tbsp per serving.
