    Will cutting calories too far slow metabolism, reduce testosterone, and cause the body to stop burning fat? I'm not talking about the CW belief that if you skip a meal your body will go into starvation mode. I'm talking about lets say...averaging under 1000 calories for 10 days straight.

    Going very low calorie is a sure way to lose weight. However, a lot of that will be muscle, which is why it isn't recommended. Why would you want to do this?
