  • Yogurt from grassfed cows

Since starting primal I've avoided yogurt thinking it was "too much" dairy per sitting. I'll use hard cheeses (try to by raw when I can) but besides that no dairy. The other day I noticed my coop is selling grassfed cow yogurt. For some reason it seemed really appealing so I jumped off the no-dairy bandwagon and got some. So good!

What is the opinion out there on dairy from better sources? This was a full fat variety. Still a no-no? Should I try to keep portions smaller? I usually have 2 cups of yogurt with a blueberry/cinnamon reduction I made and macadamia nuts.

The fat is the best part of it for you. Watch the added sugar, but other than that, enjoy!

I try to only eat grass-fed dairy. More CLA, more omega-3, better overall I think. The very best would be raw, fermented, and grass-fed--but I think I'd need to move to Ireland or something to find that!
Today I will: Eat food, not poison. Plan for success, not settle for failure. Live my real life, not a virtual one. Move and grow, not sit and die.
