pretty much all my life, but less in the last couple years. i had 2 this morning, just cuz i'm a little tired of fryin em (yeah, I never thought i'd get tired of fried eggs hahaha), but even though the stomach ache is mostly gone it still sucks. =(

well, most of the time i'll mix them up in a bowl w/ a few drops of heavy cream and then dump it in the pan. this morning though, i cracked them right into the heated pan, poured a bit of heavy cream over them, and scrambled em with the spoon. i'm not sure how the method makes a difference, but i'm curious as to whether or not it does...

Maybe its the cream? Sounds like its the only variance. Does dairy mess you up otherwise?

              try eliminating the cream.
Scramble the eggs just by themselves, throw in some black pepper and then throw em on the griddle. See if eliminating dairy helps.

                Seconding dairy as a culprit.
Also, I find for me soft scrambled egg are a lot more tummy friendly then the dry shards my mum manages to produce.

I've heard of some folks who can't even look at eggs after a long time of eating them for breakfast. My wife is one of them, once a huge eggs lover, she couldn't stand the taste and smell of scrambled eggs once she got pregnant. It's been several weeks now that she stopped eating them but she's slowly going back so it may only be a matter of taking a short break.

During one particilarly broke time period a month or two ago I practically lived on peanut butter for 5 days at work. We are talking couple spoonfuls for breakfast, one or two around noon, one or two around 3:30 and then coming home to not much. All three kids did manage to eat like kings every meal at least.

I can not even look at peanut butter now without feeling sick. Maybe thats what happened with you and eggs?

dairy doesn't do me wrong, never has. i use the same cream in my coffee that i put in the eggs with no problems. can't be the dairy... any other reasons? i'm just completely stymied by this...

I popped in here briefly and this was the first thread I saw

After 4 months of PB I was developing severe nausea that went from now and then to nearly daily. Eggs. I no longer can eat them at all. (for years they were my go to breakfast protein with no issues) I dont know why the switch to PB triggered that for me but it did. I can only tolerate tiny quantities of egg now (as an ingredient) and it really really sucks. After 4 months off them I will try again but finding a day where I am willing to lie on the couch with the puke bucket has been tough. Interesting on the scrambled notation, perhaps I will try boiled or fried and see if I can tolerate that. I did try scrambled eggwhites a few months back (since that was largely what I ate PRE- PB I thought maybe just too much yolk) and it was also bad.

odd...I havent been on MDA in months and that this was the thread on top when I popped in.

hahaha =) i'd say welcome to the club, but it's not a fun club to be part of. i've been having problems with scrambled eggs for a couple years, even before i went primal, but i'm hard-pressed to give them up since they're such a cheap, easy source of good proteins and omega-3s. for a while i thought it was due to the commercially-raised eggs i was buying, but the ones i had this morning were from pastured chickens from a local farm, very fresh and loaded with healthy fats from grass & bug fed birds. i dunno know... guess i'll just have to stay away from scrambled eggs from now on. sad face. =(

on a strange note: i don't seem to have any problems with omelets or fritattas; aren't they the same thing as scrambled, just in a different form? =S

yes, certainly, this is weakness. you must eat the scrambled eggs until you are strong once more.
