  • Palm -> Face....Frustration

So this is being passed around everywhere in my mama's group, and of course the typical PETA videos (which i have already tried to mention are very to the extreme end, and yes it is very unfortunate but this isn't the answer!) And yeah the girl is skinny as can be...I just don't even know what to say anymore. Or should I even counter-argue or just let them be with this. I care about a lot of these women, but I don't think the frustration is worth it anymore.

*scream of horror* AH, ANOREXIC! Where's a doctor?
She looks like one of those fun house carnival mirror reflections.

She doesn't look anorexic to me. Just lean. She's got plenty of boobage (assuming they're natural), her face has roundness to it, and she looks healthy. She's pretty hot, actually.
Today I will: Eat food, not poison. Plan for success, not settle for failure. Live my real life, not a virtual one. Move and grow, not sit and die.

Not attractive to me. Her waist is anorexic!
Too skinny. There's hot, and then there's rail skinny not hot. She's the latter.

I find her attractive too. A little bit lean for my tastes, but I prefer the Kim.K. (minus the giant ass) type of curvature. Either that or some nice muscle definition some where, which she clearly lacks.

I have skinny friends who can eat anything they want too... also friends who have never had a weight problem. I definitely don't listen to them about dieting.

I don't think it is healthy to criticize other people's bodies whether they are chub or thin.

                clearly, the only options are:

                1. 3000 calories of burgers a day
                2. 3000 calories of fruit a day

anything else makes no sense whatsoever

It's so CW and wrong to jump on ANY band wagon based soley on a claim of "You too can look like this if you just do what I did..."
As June just said, there are all body types and different things are going to work for different people. Some folks are naturally thin, some bulky, some short, some tall, some react quickly to lifestyle changes and others take time, etc...etc...etc.

One thing to ask yourself, earthspirit, 1) is there a chance in hell of you looking like that (if you want to), 2) what would you have to do to make the journey healthy, 3) how to modify perceptions all around (including your own!) to be happy with the best you can do.

I personally think she looks deformed...long skinny torso looks soft/fragile. Don't think I could rely on her to carry her share of any load, be relied upon to have stamina for much work and has absolutely NO reserves to last through even a lean day or two!
                  Started 7/5/11 at 274 lbs
                  Now 214 -- that's 60 lbs!
Goal 160 lbs -- last time there was in junior high!

You can't argue with success - and this girl is obviously successful with her vegan diet.
Yeah, my grammar sucks. Deal with it!

I was a vegan for about 18 months. I lost a lot of weight (wasn't fat and ate a ton of food while on the diet) and then couldn't put weight back on (Tony Horton also had this problem on a vegan diet which is why he switched back to consuming animal protein). I felt fine on the diet; the gas from all the fiber was annoying and so was the constant feeling of hunger. Primal for me is far better. I'm stronger, leaner and MEANER because I eat CRITTERS!

Have the people, passing this video around, read the Vegetarian Myth. No matter what angle you come from, Veganism is pretty much bullshit. The biggest one is the animal cruelty, which nobody in their right mind condones. But, animals must die for us to survive!!! It's the cycle of life. Nowadays Vegans should drink straight out of the gas pump since this is where most of their food comes from!

If that's not hot, then I really really would like to be not hot.

A lot of these women who are talking about this are 200+lbs. I know myself I used to actually be this skinny, minus the long torso since im short waisted. But since having a baby, my hips have definitely widened so tehre is no way ill have that 10year old little boy look like this girl does anymore. which im totally ok with...I've read vegetarian myth and brought up a few of the points, most of which are not responded to anyways...Also a lot of these women are or have been on high carb low fat diets that obviously by their weight are not working at all.
I was vegan for around 1 year, maybe 11 months closer to 12? i felt fine on it, but something was sort of off still. I was hungry all the time, and not as strong and lacked stamina. I prefer this much more. Oh well, I guess people just have to find out for themselves.

Ugh, I used to like Freelee, but I don't like her attitude anymore. She's trying to go for shock-value with her new "raw fit bitch" site. It's like how PETA uses sex all the time in their ads, she's doing the same thing. and then they get all mad when Lady Gaga wears a meat dress lol! I thought her dress was sexy! haha
I tried the fruitarian diet, it really appealed to me, but I couldn't do it. I feel much better eating Primal than any veg*n diet I've been on. I think to each their own, I just wish people weren't so annoying about it. Even as a vegan, I felt that different diets work for different people, but the vegans think that only vegan diets work for everyone
