  • Anyone Can Recommend A Better Cal Tracking SIte than Fit Day?

I am getting a bit irritated by the following problems with the FitDay:

-It doesn't load in browsers other than IE
-It does not allow creating a recipe by adding ingredients
-It doesn't have a field where you can describe the recipe (list ingredients quantities) for future reference
-It does not allow to customize a correct serving, I basically have to add it to the title
-It doesn't allow to copy the whole day over
-it doesn't search through Custom Foods

If anyone knows a free site that has all or most functionalities listed above, and can handle imports of the Custom Foods from the FitDay, I will much appreciate a link!

I have tried several and I tend to stick with daily burn. I like that one bc you can adjust your own daily range for cals, protein, carbs etc., not how many they think you should eat.

Livestrong dot com works great for me. Never had a problem with it.

Fitday is a real PITA. For me SparkPeople worked best.

I like Sparkpeople even though I have to ignore all of their helpful messages to me, but the recipe builder and overall user interface is pretty easy to get along with.

i like livestrong.com, but without the gold membership it might be annoying with the ads. I don't track anymore, but when I do I use LS (disclaimer: I'm a mod on the forums so get a free upgraded membership and don't deal with the ads)

I really did not like sparkspeople, because it was so inflexible, and somehow I had to delete a whack of foods they wanted me to eat even before I could input MY food plan. And I don't think it has a function to copy stuff over & I do not like anything that defaults you to entering the same food twice if you had it for different meals, I like just adding amounts up.
                            What's best for me?
