There's an episode about this from a show called "Better Off Ted". I can't believe this is real. This is so, so wrong.

Wow...all kinds of things could come of this. Vegetarians who don't eat meat because it means the death of an animal...adapting the meat to be lean, fat, etc...based on whatever flavor-of-the-week there is in nutritional science. Oh my.

Think of the environment! Think of the animals! Think of the children! Don't think about your health though, that's selfish.

Did you notice at the end of the article. ALL this time and expense and we don't even known if it's palatable.

My reaction to the title was to think that I don't really believe I am cut out to be a rancher.

This makes total sense, sadly. The quality of food available is going consistently down hill with the increasing commoditization of our food. Makes you want to become a rancher/farmer so you can avoid the whole mess.

Yeah. I'd like to do that so I know what I'm eating

Its a conflict we will wrestle with the rest of our lives. I don't really want to give up a lot of the perks of being modern, but...

All that said, I don't have the skills to do this on my own. I need to time warp back about 200 years or so and get an education in how to live.
