  • Wow... bacon.

    So, my boyfriend and I finally got our hands on some "clean" bacon from a natural/organic meat shop. Because I'm allergic to eggs (hopefully only temporarily while my body continues to heal from candida and lead/mercury poisoning), it has been really difficult to find protein sources for breakfast. I've tried leftover meat from dinner but I can't stomach that first thing in the morning.

    This morning, I had four large pieces of bacon and a little bit of goat yogurt with berries, plus coffee with cream. Tasty... almost too decadent.

    Holy bananas... I looked at the clock, 1pm, and I'm only just very barely feeling any signs of hunger!

    I will say, it's still difficult to eat bacon for breakfast without feeling guilty (let alone four huge pieces). That's going to be a hard habit to break. But it's really neat seeing the proof of the PB promises for myself! No hunger? I can get on board with that.

    I just ate a BAS for lunch and we'll see how long I last until I'm ready to eat again.

    Gooooo bacon!
