  • Ezekiel Bread

    I have just been introduced to Ezekiel bread and my buddy was saying that is ok to eat since it is flourless....I disagreed with him, but I wanted to get the opinion of folks on this board...Does Ekekiel bread fit into Primal Nutrition?

    It's still grains, from what I remember, albeit sprouted grains.

        Manna Bread is also sprouted grains, but id MUCH less expensive.

        The sprouting removes most of the offensive things found in whole grains.

          So, it would be fairly Primal to eat either Ezekiel or Manna bread? I'm asking because I'm not missing sugar, I'm not missing pasta, but I am missing BREAD!!!

            ya its still falls into grains but since its been sprouted it can be ur 20 if u choose, but watch for the carb content.

              Isn't the whole thing against grains that they have anti-nutrients, but sprouting removes those. Fermented bread would be good too?
              Also some "grains" are not really grains, like buckwheat which is a herb, I think?

                  Eating grains that have been soaked and sprouted is more a Weston A. Price style diet - which many people find to be suitable for them.

                  But it's really not paleo and likely not great for blood sugars, insulin levels, or weight loss. Just depends on your goals.

                    Eat it. See how you feel.

                    If you feel like ass, or have symptoms, don't eat it again.

                    If you feel fine, then make your decision about whether or not you want to keep eating it.
