  • Supplements to Tame the Sugar Monster

Are there any supplements you take to help with sugar cravings?
If so, what are they and what amount do you take?

Not as such, but I tamed my monster doing the Lptin-Rx, and with that I now take: multivitamin, omega 3 fish oil, b-complex, magnesium, zinc, glucosamine and probiotics. I have not craved sugar since June.

      Glamorama,
Did you just white knuckle it in the beginning of the leptin reset?

Replace sugar with fat. Then you will no longer crave sugar :P

No amount of fat could quell my need for sugar.

I take Chromium Picolinate at 3pm, then as needed if a craving hits, but so far one hasn't. L-Glutamine is widely used as well.

Thanks, Heather. How much chromium picolinate? I take L-Glutamine (750 mg) every morning. Do you take the L-glutamine when you're having a sugar craving?

NP. I take 200ug of the CP, and I would take L-Glutamine but I couldn't find it anywhere when I went shopping the other day! I've seen several recommendations for letting an L-Glutamine tablet dissolve sublingually for instant relief from sugar craving. I'd like to try it. Although, since I began taking the Chromium I haven't HAD any sugar cravings, but it's still early days.

How have you found the L-G works for your cravings?

I was taking the L-glutamine first thing in the morning for my gut. I'm going to google taking it sublingually for sugar cravings.

fo'shizzle! What other purpose does coconut butter serve other than to eat it straight up? LOL
Also you could have some bacon or a nice juicy grass fed steak with fat still attached
