  • Paleo Comfort Foods Cookbook- cooking through it

Woot! Got my Paleo Comfort Foods Cookbook!

Already made the Morning Glory muffins, and even with my modifications/forgot to add honey, they were pretty effin' tasty!
I didn't use shredded coconut (ack! woodchips!), used cranberries instead of raisins, and didn't add the honey.

Not bad, especially with a fried farm fresh egg and some grass fed butter. Noms!!

    What have you made?

I think I deff need to get this.. I'm having my sons 1st bday party/chirstening party on oct 23rd and I would like to keep it as close to primal as I can. The only thing not primal I dont mind there is Sodas, and cake. (oh and maybe beer for hubbys grandpa lol)

I've tried a few items - and every single thing I've made has come out pants

Worse, the ingredients were expensive and the calories immense, so I've pretty much given up for now.

I have liked everything I have tried so far
Started Primal June 2012 at 148.5lbs, and 5' 1", reached goal weight in 5 months.
Lowest weight 93lbs - too thin. Now stable at around 100lbs much better weight for me at my age.
Primal, minus eggs, dairy and a myriad of other allergens.

Turned out more like a nut topped mashed sweet potato dish than a casserole.

However, the flavor was awesome. This could easily be turned into a dessert topped with some fruit, dark chocolate shavings and whipped cream!

Made the Chili, the way it should be yesterday with a few alterations. Spicy goodness!

I loved the shrimp & grits (and I'm not ordinarily a big fan of cauliflower).
