  • 3600 Cal per day - Need Some Help

Alright, I want to prove to my whole family that I can eat 3600 Calories a Day and still lose 1 to 2 pounds a week.

I can do it on a week where I know I'll be inactive (minus three 30 minute sessions of weight lifting) for further proof that the diet works.

Who's got a list of Low Sugar/High Calorie Foods that I can stuff my face with?

I'm officially an open source platform.

Trader Joe's Applewood Smoked Bacon is 100 Calories per full slice, So I can eat lots of that without feeling full.

Full Avocados are about 300 calories.

Old Time Fat Back Skins Chicharron - Serving Size 0.5 oz, Calories 90, Total Fat 7g (Saturated Fat 2g), Cholesterol 20mg, Sodium 440mg, Total Carbohydrates 0g, Protein 6g. (this one is definitely in)
Chia Seeds (1 oz) is 137 Calories (High omega-3 by the way)

1 Tbsp Sweet Cream Butter is about 100 Cals (gonna use it with my bacon and put a whole tbsp on the bacon afterwords to stick it with the chia seeds!)

    Here's breakfest:
2 tbsp of coconut oil = 232 calories
2 oz of Pork rinds = 320 calories
    6 egg = 462 calories (6 scrambled eggs = 462 calories)
2 cup of Cabot Greek Yogurt plain (10% milkfat) = 589 calories
    Total = 1594

I could eat this and not be completely full.

      I don't know, this isn't something I would do.

Rethink your strategy and come back.

Under normal circumstances I would say this is absolutely true.

I'm looking to gain muscle mass anyway. I wanna see what happens.

I just want to see what calorie intake has to do with my metabolism, plus I can revert back to what I was doing before without any problems.

I can also eat high calorie pre/post workout for added benefit/bonus.

A typical BAS (big @$$ salad) runs me 1,600 cals (6-9 cups baby greens, 1 avocado, 6 hard boiled eggs, 2 cans tuna fish, 4-6 slices bacon, sometimes 1 lb shrimp, EVOO)

2 oz of Pork rinds = 320 calories
Where can I get some organic pork rinds?

Cool, don't like tunafish much, the texture bothers me, yet upon further examination I think I'll try it . 3oz of tunafish is about 122 calories.

Definitely love bacon . The shrimp sounds great too. Would have to bring it to work with me in a sealable container to make this happen.

Also, Fried eggs in bacon fat have more calories, probably worth noting because the calorie density is much higher.

I wont forget to drink water too.

            Keep it going!

You would have to check your local stores. Or you can get them at Amazon (if you have time)

Totally doable. I was taking in 3600 cals on plenty of days while losing weight. I just ran a typical day from last fall through FitDay and came up with about 3700-3800 cals.

Breakfast - 4 eggs in butter, 8-10 slices of bacon, cream in coffee

Lunch - pound of ground beef, mushrooms, tomato sauce, banana peppers, parmesan cheese

Supper - 2 dozen chicken wings (or more) doused in Frank's Hot Sauce & butter

Some days I'd wash it down with a Liquid Fat Bomb for another 800 or so calories.

                    Damn man, now I'm hungry.

Well, someone else in your family could also eat 500 cal/day of HFCS and lose weight. Additionally, one week does not a diet make. There is not a “diet” out there, which if strictly adhered to, won’t result in some initial weight loss. I’m with the other guy – rethink this. It’s not wise and proves nothing. It’s diet entertainment. It misrepresents Primal as a “quick fix”.

Correct. I want to make a point to my family and have a few laughs in the process. My health will follow a close second. I like that there really are two sides to this.

Just remember that my main goal now is muscle building and simple fat loss isn't necessarily part of this plan.

If my weight doesn't change, I've proven my point.

I never said primal was a quick fix. I still have a long way to go. I'm also considdering eating less calories too to make it slightly more affordable. How about 3000 instead?

Be brave & try it in the salad. Even with the 2 cans, it breaks up in the lettuce enough you don't even notice it (but it's great protein!)

You can't prove its the diet if you include the 3 x 30 mins weight lifting. This would change the way your body reacts to the diet.
