So I just started Primal a few days ago. The real draw for me is the idea that I don't have to worry about what I eat as long as I follow the guidelines. I was a slave to weight watcher calorie counting for years, and it got to the point where I thought and worried about food all day. Primal says I don't need to do that.
However, it doesn't mean I go out and drink corn oil all day. I want to get into the habit of knowing what is good, bad, and what is ok in a pinch. Especially when it comes to oils.
I was making some tuna salad for lunch today when I realized that the Hellman's Mayo I had contains Soybean oil as the primary ingredient. Does this mean I throw out the Mayo, or is Soybean oil OK as long as I give myself a nice dose of Omega-3 supplements?
What other oils are ok? What are not? I just want this to become a natural thing I don't spend any time thinking about, and I hope you can help me get there.
