  • Confused Re: Cholesterol Numbers, Lymph & Bilirubin: Enlightenment Needed!

Hi! I don't know what happened to my last post -- it just seemed to disappear! -- and so I am posting again, hoping that I can get some help regarding my cholesterol numbers.

I am 31, 5'6", 125 pounds. I have been on the paleo diet again after a three-month stint with a raw veggie and fish diet. I was on the paleo diet before but thought I'd experiment. While on the raw diet, I overdid it on two things: almond butter and coconut butter. I was starving for real animal protein and fat.

So, my cholesterol numbers don't look good and I'm worried. I don't eat many carbs ... just low-carb veggies. I eat eggs, mostly red meat, butter, olive oil, virgin coconut oil ... and that's about it. I've been doing bone broths to help heal my gut.

    Here are the numbers:

    Trig -- 45
    Cholesterol -- 250
    HDL -- 52
    LDL, calculated -- 189

I don't know what all this means!

My Lymph number is also high: 47.3, when the average is 18-46
And my Bilirubin is also a little high: 1.6, when .3-1.2 is the norm

Any ideas? I would so appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this!!!
