  • Is sesame flour/meal primal? Is tapioca flour primal?

I love baking. Where I live (Hong Kong) is pretty difficult to find cheap coconut flour or almond flour. Even grinding my own flour is still pretty expensive. However, sesame is cheap here.

My question is sesame meal primal?

Tapioca flour very cheap here too, is it primal?

    Thanks.
    Kate

PS actually coconut meat is not too bad here, but I can hardly bake everything that taste coconut-ie?

    That's a good question.

I eat sesame seeds almost every day just to get the copper from them. I don't cook them because of the high PUFA content, and that way the fats don't oxidize.

I also use the Chebe bread stuff that is, essentially, all tapioca flour. Tapioca is just the starch from roots of a plant, so I believe that it is primal.
People too weak to follow their own dreams will always try to discourage others.

Thanks for your reply. Can you explain more about PUFA content in sesame and oxide fat.
      Thanks.
