  • If I boost my testosterone will it allow me to grow a beard?

I'm 18. My dad at 64 is still barely able to grow a bushy beard, but has had a mustache since he was 19 or so, which I can't get past peach-fuzz. I want to look like a dwarf, with a large braided brown beard of awesome dwarven might!!1

You cannot (naturally) increase the number of hair follicles you have or make it grow faster, but more will grow in as you get older. But if your parents are not especially hairy, you're bum out of luck dude!

My husband is 25, half Filipino, half German - his dad has a mighty goatee and mo, but due to the Asian side, hubby's facial hair grows sloooww. It's taken him about 2yrs to get around 3in of goatee.

I think that would be a very bad reason to go boosting your testosterone, unless it's low for some reason.

I'm the opposite: I have hair everywhere. Wouldn't be surprised if I grew hair on my eyes and teeth
