    I've been reading The Unhealthy Truth: How Our Food Is Making Us Sick and What We Can Do About It by Robyn O'Brien. She goes into lengthy detail about the "revolving door" between Monsanto and the FDA. It was released in 2009, so I was curious if that still seemed to be the case.

    A quick trip to the FDA website shows that the FDA's responsibilities are divided between four deputy commissioners, one of which oversees food safety. Michael Taylor is the Deputy Commissioner for Foods. Last line of his bio on the FDA website? VP for Public Policy at...

    ...Monsanto.

    Looks like the foxes are guarding the henhouse. No wonder the CW guidance from our government is so dreadful.
