    The Warrior Diet.


    Or at least my version of it. I'm going to be eating on big meal at day at sundown, whatever time that may be - I think it's 6PM? - and eat whatever I want until 8.


    Anyone with me? I'm going to try to do this for a whole week at least and see how it goes. There's a whole lot of good evidence for it out there.


    I know there are a couple of one-mealers here, so hopefully you guys can drop in.


    edit: not whatever I want... :P of course I'm still going to eat Primal.

    I eat 1 meal a day usually 5 times a week. Not a full Warrior diet, sort of just a modified IF schedule.


    I would say it is fairly easy if you have been eating a high fat diet for a long time. If you have done 20+ hour fasts before, then it should be even easier. The best part is the extra time you have.


    I think one day I will try a regular warrior diet to see how it goes. Although I am doing OK as far as weight loss and energy levels go. Starting this right before Thanksgiving should be interesting for you.

      Im with ya. I had been fasting ESE for a while, but have recently fallen out of my IF routine. Eating warrior style will allow me to work out during the day in fasted state, which I prefer anyways.


      Im currently eating vlc, mainly meats, eggs, and coconut oil. Good luck!


      and I live in Canada so our thanksgiving was last month

            I&#39;m doing it at least today. I have a lot of chicken wings to bake, sweet potatoes, veggies - can&#39;t wait to feast on it after 6.

                    I&#39;ve been wanting to ask about the Warrior Style Diet myself for the last few weeks. I am at my best when I do dinner-to-dinner fasts, which is kind of warrior style eating. That&#39;s the only time I eat to my heart&#39;s content and don&#39;t feel the need to graze. But at the same time, I&#39;m prepping my body to be fertile so wasn&#39;t sure how this WOE would help/hinder it, so I&#39;m eating normally with occasional IFs.

                          ive been eating like that about 4 days of the week for some time...

                          this is definately the best eating style for me. i feel hungry rarely and its not the " ill kill somebody soon if i dont get food" kind of hunger- its very manageable.

                          I think it also has a lot to do with the fact that my fatintake is about 70%...

                            I find the fasting gets easier with time too, and Im more in tune with what &#39;real&#39; hunger is. Like eva mentioned, breaking the fast with lots of fat (and protein) seems to work well.

                              Today will be the second day. I&#39;m totally up for it! I don&#39;t feel the need to eat breakfast either. I&#39;m only drinking some green tea.


                              I had some trouble falling asleep last night from stomach pains. I stuffed myself too fast with dinner (or breakfast? hehe). I knew I should have spread out the meal over 4 hours, but I was hungry!


                              I really hope that this breaks my plateau.
