Don't forget the DE. It only takes a few days to kill off the parasites. And besides Dr K wants to feature you and DE in a blogpost.

                  • When I was 14 and living in a very rural area of southern Oregon I worked on an organic cherry farm that used DE to keep the worms from infesting the grove. I was the "sorter". I saw lots of cherries that didn't have holes in them and the ones that did I ate. Yum! I don't think I ate any worms as that would have made me hurl!

I tried DE for Candida a few years ago and didn't think it did anything. I am thinking I didn't give it long enough to work and the candida just went into hibernation until I stopped taking the DE. Is it just parasites that it works for or will it help candida?

                      Please, God, let it stay.

I'll swim in frozen lakes if it means making it stay!!

The terrible itching was gone within 1 week, and I kept this treatment up for 8 weeks to kill the hatchlings. Scabies are microscopic & cannot be seen without a microscope. Now I have been FREE of Scabies for over 2 years. DE is also extremely effective for bedbugs, sprinkle it into the bedding.

DE is well known for killing parasites in the gut. DO NOT use DE for swimming pools. It MUST be FOOD grade. Pet owners use it to kill worms, fleas & ticks in their dogs.

DE does not easily create dust. Consider it to be more like salt. It falls directly down out of the container without creating a dust cloud. I used a salt shaker to sprinkle DE into the bedding, and there was no dust at all. However, if you are careless with it, you can create dust. With reasonable care, there are no problems with dust. I also sprinkled DE into the couch & chairs using a salt shaker, again with no problems.

Another strategy I used was to mix DE with alcohol to spray the keyboard, PC Screen, & car upholstery. So anywhere I went, there was DE to greet the little monsters. No dust problems here.

                        • I have not started the cold bath protocol yet, but I have noticed (as I finally start to feel a little better...) that I am HOT now. No coat in the middle of the Northeast Winter, slept in itty bitty shorts and a sports bra last night with a light sheet instead of under flannel sheets, electric blanket, and down comforter. I keep having to turn the heat down - and we only keep it around 63 as is! I definitely think that the ice/cold baths will be another awesome step in super HAWT rockstar direction for me.

Plus mad energy today - I actually got to school/class/daycare on time instead of my normal 10-15 minutes late. Didn't jump right out of bed, but did get up only 15 minutes after my alarm instead of 30.

I love the wacky craziness of this thread. It means I am not alone

                          • Love the idea from before about getting settled in the tub, then letting the water fill up. Will try this. Used 100% of my full body strength contorting and propping self up in water initially until I got used to it.

About a separate thread...I used to get irritated by all the "off" topics, but realized only later when I got a better handle on what might be going on, and what the scope of all this stuff was, that I ended up going back and reading what I had previously skimmed. I am late to the party, and was more plot driven "I want to see these people's results" at the beginning. Now I am in it knee deep and realize what value there can be in the more off topics, which I feel are actually on topic....If you are restless to get more specifics on one aspect, just skim over some stuff, and then get to what is more applicable. It is all here for later as needed. But I say --for a broken body, hit it up from all angles. Cold stuff seems to be a nice built in back door to the good stuff...and fast, try it!

Cool!! Try it, you will like it. I drank the fermented koolaid, and am totally on board. But I guess we wouldn't be here if it didn't work like crazy.

I do skim, but end up missing the posts where someone answered a previous comment, etc. For example, someone said placement of ice packs are where there is large concentrations of brown fat, and then someone corrected them, and I went round and round trying to find the follow up to why or where or what. I'm not complaining, just making an organization suggestion. I agree hitting it from all angles is great, but how many angles can there be? It's hard to tell when every 3rd post is in response to a post from a week ago for a discussion that's since born 3 more child threads within the same. I'll do my best, but I've held off asking questions for fear when I do my head will get bitten off because it was already addressed in the thread. Can't figure out how to sort my search results by date I guess either.
