  • Primal Nutella

I just saw this, and was thinking how timely it was. I've been hopeless addicted to Nutella and it's one of my triggers to deviate from a primal diet.

So I thought I'd share: Rawtella

The price is killing me though. Probably for the best, I can imagine overindulging on this to an extreme level if it was priced like Nutella.

Buy some hazelnut butter at the local hippymart, add cocoa powder and honey, maybe add coconut oil, call it a day.

I'll be doing just that this weekend, in fact! I'll let you know how it works out.

I had some of this the other day and it was absolute heaven. I don't think I can ever buy it again because I will eat the whole thing in one sitting.

I left it at my girlfriend's house or I'd eat the whole damn thing. I hope it's empty when I get back.

I am so excited about both products endorsed here. But especially the rawtella. I like peanutbutter and all, but I was never the girl to eat tons and tons of it. Nutella on the other hand...I really could eat the jar in a day. No problem. With a glass of milk. Oh my gosh yum! I reaaallly want to try this stuff. Or I guess, make my own with coconut sugar and all. But this looks amazing!

Ahh the Artisana version of Nutella...I bought some recently and looove it! Super addictive. Unfortunately (for me) it's got Agave in it...aka "High Fructose Agave Syrup." I wouldn't have bought it if I'd checked the label more closely...agave has more fructose even than HFCS. (though I'm not throwing away the jar that I have... )

Agave for weight loss!! @_@ I'd not trade weight loss for the impact of that much sugar on my body, if that kind of sugar diet even worked.

That said, the Rawtella looks like a yummy alternative...anyone have any word on coconut sugar? All I know is it's supposedly low-glycemic.
