  • Salmon with Skin

A couple of Salmon fillets with crispy skin (plus lots of veg of course) is a favourite meal of mine, but I'm struggling to find reliable nutrition data. I'm currently using 40g fat and 80g protein per 300g (2 fillets). Does this seem about right?

Looks like it depends on the kind of salmon but you're in the ball park.

Thanks Pyro, some of the numbers I found were significantly lower, I guess they were skinless despite saying otherwise

Wild Salmon would give you 76 grams of Protein and 24 grams of Fat (6 of them omega 3!)

180 grams of protein?? That surely it's wrong.... take chicken breast 300 grams would yield about 70 grams of protein and chicken breast it's mostly water and protein.....
