Funny... this is an old thread.

        My 7 foods would be:
        1. coffee and cream (can I count that as one?)
        2. eggs
        3. butter
        4. rib eye steak
        5. cheese
        6. avocado
        7. coconut

Man... that's hard! Glad I don't have to just live off of 7 foods!

It's sometimes interesting to re-visit an old thread and see how your thinking has evolved. This is my revised list:

              1. ruminants (nose to tail)
              2. seafoods (includes sea veggies)
              3. high fat dairy products
              4. coconut products
              5. avocados
              6. macadamia and pine nuts
              7. above ground (non-root) veggies

                7. green leafy and colorful veggies
See... now there is a list I could actually LIVE with.
Though I'd ditch the nuts (VERY high oxalates and I cannot eat them at all) in #6 in favor of Pork (nose to tail).

I had pork belly and roasted cauliflower (hey, white is a color! ) for dinner.
                Oh soooooo good.

Yeah, I'm kind of off of both pork and poultry these days unless it's wild game like boar or goose. I love cauliflower too. I probably should have said "above ground (non-root) veggies". There, fixed it.

                    • not in order of importance...

                      1. almost any seafood (barring stuff like whales, dolphins, and fugu)
                      2. butter and olive oil
                      3. seaweed
                      4. goat cheeses and ripe brie/camembert
                      5. green leafy stuff (including kitchen herbs)
                      6. a pig (to be consumed in its near-entirety)
                      7. garlic
                      8. the local dandelion wine and Mavrodafni wine
                      9. wild Maine blueberries

(yeah, I know that is more than allowed, but I refuse to choose between old friends... somehow, all of them will make it onto the deserted island or isolated mountaintop)
I have a mantra that I have spouted for years... "If I eat right, I feel right. If I feel right, I exercise right. If I exercise right, I think right. If I think right, I eat right..." Phil-SC
