  • Which Taubes book should I get?

Why We Get Fat or Good Calories, Bad Calories? I heard one is easier to understand and I'm wondering which one. (I don't have a science background and am hanging on to dear life trying to understand everything!)

If you don't have a science background I would recommend Why We Get Fat. I've read both, and even WWGF will challenge those with no science background. GCBC could be downright lethal.

I also thought that "Why We Get Fat" is a more solution-based book while GCBC is more a detailed explanation of what is going on. I wouldn't recommend GCBC to too many people but I'd recommend WWGF to anyone interested in nutrition.

I found "Why We Get Fat" a good read, not too hard, with a pile of great info. I think its the place to start, and if you want more detail then go to GCBC.
