  • Something is off today, any ideas?

    I feel like I could eat a horse right now, I'm so hungry! This started within an hour of eating Steak. This hardly ever happens to me. I can usually fast until lunch if I want to so I'm quite perplexed.

    Here's a link to my journal for anyone who might want to help figure this out.

    have some sprouted grains or handful raw nuts or 2TBS of natural peanut or almond butter with an apple! ;o)

    i went primal in feb 2010
    200lbs
    37% body fat
    38-40 waist

    1 year to the day
    140lbs
    7.8% body fat
    29 waist

    currently
    137lbs
    7% body fat
    29 waist

      You're gonna hate this, but ... sometimes it just happens. Eat, if you're hungry. Sometimes (all the time?) our bodies are doing things we don't understand, or are stressed in ways we can't see. From what I've seen, a lot of people here have random "eat everything in sight" days. I usually eat in a 6-8 hour window, but sometimes I get so hungry when I wake up I just have to cook food.
      Go with it.

          This happens to me once every few months. For a few days (or sometimes a week) I'm just ravenous. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, just a natural cycle because I've been slowly losing weight.

          I've also noticed that during that time I don't lose weight, but when it passes I catch right back up to my pace.

              Thanks everyone! Unfortunatly I'm stuck at work without food. I might have a few nuts in my stash Drawer...that'll have to do. I'm just getting over a virus. Maybe my body just need some extra nutrition.

                I often eat more when I am sick. Also, if you are anywhere near PMS time, it is another thing that could make you hungry.
