    I know that grits,(corn) is nowhere near Paloe/Primal.
    But I have some as a cheat/treat maybe once aweek or so with a ham and cheese omelette.
    Does anyone think that would have any harm in y overall weight loss plan?

    In the past 2 months, I've gone from 265lb to 232.
    I'm sticking pretty close to the Primal/Paleo diet, but do have my occasional cheats/treats.

    I wouldn't stress out about things like that, just don't let it become a regular thing.

      Grits is one of the things I miss, especially cheesey grits, so I do have them on rare occasions.
